New Bremen is located on S.R. 66  south of St. Marys. Its attractions are modest, however its markers are filled with interesting history. Route 66 has small berms and fast paced traffic.

Off S.R.66 on the south side of Minster is S.R. 363 which leads to Lake Loramie. This reservoir was a feeder lake for the canal.   S.R. 363 at Fort Loramie does reconnect to S.R.66.  Further south, Fessler-Buxton Rd. runs east to Lockington Ohio.  The Lockington Reservoir is on the north west side of the village and the series of locks and aqueduct base is on the southwest corner of the town.  Just west of the village on Fessler-Buxton is Hardin Rd.  Hardin Rd. extends southwest to the Piqua Historical Area, which is located on the south side of Hardin Rd. just east of S.R. 66.

The Miami and Erie Canal can be viewed along the west side of S.R.66 while continuing south toward Piqua.  Engineering of the canal around this hilly terrain makes it an interesting sight as it continues through the side streets of northwest Piqua Ohio.  There is also a city park or two along the way.

The slide show tours ends with an area sensitive map that links to outside web sites containing information on various canal boats and canal locks.
